GLOBAL POLYMER SUMMIT 2025| DESMA INJECTION EQUIPMENT
On display will be our DESMA Alpha100 ton servo injection molding machine, ideal for laboratory use or single cavity production. It features pre-stressed tie bars for optimum parallelism, and our patented FIFO retractable injection unit for dosing accuracy.
The machine control system, the DRC 1030, is PLC-based using B&R industrial automation. The operator panel is a touchscreen; it is OPC UA compatible for data collection, features extensive graphing capabilities, and utilizes Fx row architecture for sequence building.
This machine features our optional servo hydraulic package using Rexroth system matched pumps, drives, and controllers for optimal reliability. It includes one high-capacity axial piston pump, which is engineered to operate at two different settings & output configurations, depending on the flow requirement during individual press movements throughout the molding cycle. The ability to control the hydraulics to this level leads to additional power savings.
The servo package provides enhancements in our Alpha/Sigma series machines in relation to noise abatement, optimized flow and speed control for press movements, and, of course, energy consumption. Learn more about our Alpha/Sigma machines
