DESMA’s parent company, a German-based, publicly traded steel called Salzgitter, every year solicits from their approximate 25,000 employee base nominations for a global training program called Salzgitter International Management Development Program (SIMDP). Marc Vonderlage and approximately 15 other Salzgitter colleagues attended the Dresden, Germany, kick-off in May 2023.
The program extends throughout the year and involves in-person and online sessions centered around leadership while providing a global perspective. The SIMDP’s intention is to sharpen leadership and management skills.
