As DESMA celebrates its 60th anniversary, we would like to walk you through our company history. From our single building start in 1965 to our global presence today, we have many stories to tell!
1965 – After successful site selection and seven months of construction, Maschinenfabrik Fridingen (MAF) starts production in the 200 square meter factory hall in Fridingen an der Donau in January. Walter Schatz was commissioned as managing director with the development of the DESMA subsidiary. He is supported by his first employee.
