Co-Op Opportunities Available
Desma engages to bring young elastomer industry professionals onboard.
DESMA has a long-term commitment to the business and the elastomer industry by exposing today’s youth to polymer production, machinery, and tooling manufacture. DESMA USA works with various local institutions to help mentor the next generation of elastomer industry professionals. Our project Engineering Department and our mold-making division(NAMC) actively participate in co-op and apprenticeship opportunities with local universities and trade schools.
PROCESSING ENGINEER
Collaborates with DESMA engineers to facilitate runoff activities in the Demonstration Lab. Works in partnership with US and global engineers on mold, equipment and machinery design.
MACHINist
Assists with preparing material for processing. Receives hands-on experience running 3 axis milling and other manual equipment. Participates in the assembly of rubber injection tooling.
