To continue our story of DESMA history: 1966 & 1967 – shoe mold making is on an ‘upward trend,’ the workforce has grown to 50 employees, and the production hall has expanded, earlier than planned, to 1,500 square meters.
Initially, the DESMA plant in Achim was supplied with prefabricated parts and shoe-molded components. Design Manager E. Stengelin establishes mechanical engineering, re-aligning the DESMA trajectory to what will be a successful focus for the business.
